Abstract: The paper presents aspects regarding the utilisation of computer programmes for CAD and 3D graphical modelling of cylindrical toothed wheels forming up gears. There are described some results of
software applications in the domain of computing the points that define the profile and the line of tooth flanks, as well as their 2 and 3 D representation; in modelling and animation of gears.

Abstract: The paper presents the recommendations made in technical writing for the execution of spiroid worm gears. Then, the results of a personal study are highlighted on the behavior of a spiroid worm gear with the worm made of alloyed steel 41 Mo Cr11 hardened by ionic nitration and the worm gear made of nodular graphite cast iron.

Abstract: Taking in account the lower values ofIn this paper we present, in a unitary form, all types of cycloidall-evolvent curves using the same generating scheme and the same parametric equations system. Particularising the tangent’s type and the values domains for the centroides’ radius of the generating scheme, we obtain a certain type of cycloidall curve. We present a program in AutoLISP rolls under AutoCAD who permits the representation of the connecting rod’s curves, generated by quadrilateral mechanisms. The writing of the file is based on parametric equations of Cartesian coordinates of the connecting rod curve’s generating point. The file creates accessible commands from AutoCAD Program, obtaining the cycloidall curve and, also, the equidistant to the cycloidall curve as polilines.

ON THE GEARING SIMULATION USING FINITE ELEMENTS METHODS

Abstract: The paper contains an analysis of the using finite element methods of the spur gears
with the consideration of most profile forms (tip profile correction) and profile deviations. The
analysis is developed for spur gears because of available resources. The deviation considered is the
one of profile form, with a multiple variation along the tooth profile. The paper offers and
discusses results of tooth and contact stress that are carried out by finite elements analysis.

There are presented the main types of industrial plastics, pointing out its features, which are connected to the gears design. Abstract: This paper presents some fundamental aspects concerning the generating kinematics and the elements of the milling head used withine hypocycloid toothing process at the rack bar. There are also defined analytically and numerically examined profile, line and the crowning of the flanks generated. Diferent values of the constructive parameters defining the tool used and the generating toothing are taken into account. Some
programs of calculation and of representation are used for the characteristic lines of the generated flanks.

THERMAL CALCULUS OF THE WORM GEARBOXES IN THE TRANSIENT OPERATING CONDITIONS

Abstract: The present paper proposes a simple yet efficient method for evaluating the thermal behaviour of worm gearboxes in transient operating conditions. The main characteristic of this proposed method is the estimation of the sump temperature in time, since the limitation of this temperature is the main criterion for gearbox thermal rating. An application and its discussion are given in the final part of the paper.

Abstract: The paper presents the factors, which influence the dimensional deviations of the cogwheels and pinions obtained out of plastic deformation namely – the tools manufacturing, the elastic deformation, the fluctuation of working condition, the surface flaws of half–finished products on design – and the result is that the main factor is the plastic deformation of the tools. The paper offers additional information on the control of the negative effects that follow as an outcome of these factors.

Abstract: The paper presents three of the most modern methods of manufacturing the cog wheels and pinions by plastic deformation inside closed mould using methods like: divided flow, the axial power drive of the container and the double flow method that involves friction. The paper also presents ideas on the pressure of deformation and on the principle of the flow release as an instrument of its own reduction.
